Wheaton Town Center is the first LEED-Platinum certified government-owned building in Maryland. The original three-story office building on site was demolished, to make room for the new 25,000 square-foot town center. The building will serve as a meeting and municipal space for the local Wheaton township.

In downtown Brooklyn, NY sits the historic Macy’s department store. With the construction of the Wheeler, a new creative office structure above it, the Macy’s store was awarded a much-needed upgrade. In their first New York project, Shimoda Design Group, with the collaborative efforts of Perkins Eastman, completed the design.

The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas constructed a 200-foot water tank, the first in 50 years. The city sought a local artist for the tank’s design commissioning Ryan Kahler Rooney. His piece, "Welcoming Hills of Hot Springs,” adorns the massive tank as he describes, “I wanted to say welcome to Hot Springs, welcome home. That's kind of where it all came from."
