The design has since been adapted to fit a plethora of markets, most notably education. City Centre 1 (CC1) is a large mixed-use project in Surrey, BC. The 183,000 square-foot, 12-story building, was developed by Lark Group and designed by Wensley Architecture. The building sits just across from the Surrey Memorial Hospital and houses 90 medical and technology tenants. Interestingly, the building includes public use space on the ground level featuring retailers, restaurants and a gym.

The Janus/Riverside commercial building by Brenac & Gonzalez Architects boasts a captivating façade. The eight-story complex is nearly 56,000 square-feet, was completed in 2017 and utilizes an abundance of Alucobond aluminum composite panels. The panels, in Alucobond’s Mirror and Anodized Look finishes, showcase a playfulness with their reflective nature.
