Water Works Park in Des Moines, Iowa is one of the country’s largest urban parks and provides drinking water for 500,000 Iowa residents. In an attempt to attract new visitors to the park Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation and the City of Des Moines commissioned RDG Planning & Design to construct an attractive underpass for the park.

The Esperanza Brighton Park Health Center opened just last year and offers essential medical services to low-income and uninsured residents in Chicago. The non-profit building features a playful, modern façade designed by JGMA. The building contains healthcare service space, clinical offices, exam rooms, on-site pharmacy, and other room allocated to diagnostic testing.

Architects Houston Tyner were commissioned to transform the outdated Porte Cochere hotel in Los Angeles, California into an eye-catching showpiece. The architects designed a nearly 300-foot intricately fabricated sculptural façade that spans the length of the hotel’s exterior. The sculpture utilizes nearly 17,000 square-feet of 4mm Alucobond PLUS material in two distinctly unique finishes.

City Centre 1 (CC1) is a large mixed-use project in Surrey, BC. The 183,000 square-foot, 12-story building, was developed by Lark Group and designed by Wensley Architecture. The building sits just across from the Surrey Memorial Hospital and houses 90 medical and technology tenants. Interestingly, the building includes public use space on the ground level featuring retailers, restaurants and a gym.
