City officials in Ann Arbor created a contest for the best tank design to adorn the water tower near the Stadium/Washtenaw split. The winning entry was from Bill Burgard, freelance illustrator and designer and University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design lecturer. His design for the 500-gallon water tank features Huron River locals, the swan, sandhill crane, woodpecker, bird of prey, and bluegill fish.

The Oxboro Library is a single-story branch library in Bloomington, Minnesota, and the second free-standing library in the area. The library was recently renovated to adapt its 1970s brutalist façade to create a more modern design.

Disney’s Manhattan headquarters encompasses a city block. Sitting in the Printing District, the building is surrounded by vintage loft buildings. In addition, the neighborhood is full of adaptive reuse. Each building is reused for studio, office, and exhibition spaces. As a result, the over 1 million gross square-foot building is well suited for the modern media giant.

Union Denver is a massive mixed-use development by Davis Partnership Architects in the Central Platte Valley of Denver. Developer Holland Partner Group worked closely with the architects to produce the 580 units over three residential towers with 60,000 square feet of ground-floor retail below. The retail space is anchored by Whole Foods urban grocery chain.
