The building, designed by Foster + Partners, sits beside some of the area’s most iconic modernist facades. The Newtons Cove Footbridge in Weymouth Seafront, Dorset, was constructed in 2004. The bridge connects the world-renowned fossil beaches of Dorset to the Southwest Coast Path. Representatives at Unova Paint Products describe, “Rather than take the form of an iconic structure, the subtle blue steel bridge with open parapets was purposefully designed to be sympathetic to its surroundings and complement the natural landscape of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.”
