The Energy Technologies Building at Nottingham University specializes in the research and development of sustainable energy technologies. Designed by the architects at Maber, the building is exceptionally energy efficient, producing enough energy to heat the neighboring Institute of Mental Health. The building is the first of its kind, a zero carbon in-use laboratory.

In this one-hour course, we will discover the strengths and advantages of FEVE fluoropolymer topcoats. We will evaluate coating performance tests including accelerated weathering and real-time weathering and what the implications are for the life of different coatings. We will explore the many design possibilities that FEVE technology provides and assess the sustainability benefits of FEVE topcoats despite their higher initial cost compared to other topcoat formulations.

Local Artist Redesigns Muscatine Water Tower Representative Of The Iowa Town

The Iowa Finance Authority hosted an “It’s in the Water” contest in 2019 with the grand prize locality winner receiving a custom water tank. The City of Muscatine won the contest, announced at the Iowa State Fair, in late 2019. The Iowa Finance Authority commissioned local artist, Laura Palmer, for the tower’s design.
