Union Denver is a massive mixed-use development by Davis Partnership Architects in the Central Platte Valley of Denver. Developer Holland Partner Group worked closely with the architects to produce the 580 units over three residential towers with 60,000 square feet of ground-floor retail below. The retail space is anchored by Whole Foods urban grocery chain.
The residential towers are studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments with all the amenities of modern living. The towers feature whirlpools, a swimming pool, fitness, community, gathering spaces, and lounge and conference rooms. In addition, the ground-level floor features the grocery chain and other restaurants and bars to offer an essential epicenter for the Denver community.

The architects at Davis Partnership describe, “In the lower levels of the building, the Whole Foods Market is situated along the entire Seventeenth Street frontage. The store is designed non-standard, opening up to the street across much of its frontage, thereby allowing a more transparent, accessible, and interactive pedestrian experience…Other retail spaces are dedicated to restaurants, bars, and other dry goods stores supporting the neighborhood.”

The Whole Foods and connected CVS Pharmacy are clad in Pure + Freeform’s durable Rivetless Dry Joint Plate and Perforated panels. The panels, in a Custom Rust finish, offer a weathered age metal feel with a corrosion-resistant coating. As the representatives at Pure + Freeform describe, “From coastal environments to busy urban streets, their [Rust Finish] AAMA 2605 exterior grade durability rating ensures resistance to UV degradation, corrosion, chemical exposure, fading, chalking, or loss of gloss.

The Pure + Freeform panels in a Custom Rust finish are enriched with Lumiflon FEVE resin technology. Coatings with Lumiflon FEVE resin technology offer benefits that many other coatings do not. The fluoropolymer provides unmatched weatherability, which helps prevent coating degradation.
