The Logan Airport Nouria Energy Convenience Center in Boston, MA features a Shell fueling station, Starbucks Coffee, and Meridian Market, a local family-owned Italian restaurant. The center, according to Nouria Energy is, “The first of its kind…the state-of-the-art store boasts a unique building architecture, brighter, more spacious layout, community-inspired graphics and many amenities…”

The 4.75 million-dollar center expands nearly 7,000 square-feet and features a “better-option convenience store” model. As the architects at Phase Zero explain, “The signature contemporary building design employs a double sloped roof to evoke a feeling of flight– as appropriate to its surroundings, and high-quality sustainable materials were carefully chosen to be used throughout.”

One of those sustainable materials is the expansive use of Pure + Freeform metal panels. The panels, in three collection finishes and one custom, are featured on both the interior and exterior of the project. The materials are not only high-quality, but also fully sustainable.

The finishes; Old Dirty Bronze, Gotham Patina, Parisian Rush and Custom Tan Patina are enriched with Lumiflon FEVE resin technology, with the clarity of the finish attributed to the clear nature of the Lumiflon’s FEVE resin.

Coatings with Lumiflon FEVE resin technology offer benefits that many other coatings do not. The fluoropolymer provides unmatched weatherability, which helps prevent against coating degradation. FEVE-based coatings also help reduce lifecycle costs, as their hyper-durability allows a coating to resist degradation in the face of UV radiation, salt, and water for decades.
