FEVE Resin Featured On Luminous Pavilion Reminiscent of Forest Canopy

MPavilion is an annual architecture and design event where one outstanding architect is commissioned to design a pavilion for the Queen Victoria Gardens. The 2015 design was the work of award-winning architect Amanda Levete and her studio, AL_A. The completed pavilion is a series of translucent petals perched on slender carbon fiber poles, creating a structure that resembles a forest canopy.

The George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas is a magnificent structure that stands at the intersection of modern architecture and environmental responsibility. Former President Bush emphasized the importance of constructing a building that both focused on aesthetics and the preservation of the natural world, which is why PPG's Coraflon was used for this project. With its low VOCs and durable resin that will protect the color and gloss of the building against hot and humid Texan climate, Coraflon was the ideal choice for the presidential center.

What was once a small wooden building sitting on 17 acres of land in 1894 is now a premier medical facility in the middle of Dallas, TX. Parkland Hospital had appeared to withstand the test of time, but like everything else, the hospital began to fall behind, finding itself outdated in the rapidly evolving world of medicine. Obsolete and unequipped to provide care for its massive number of patients, the hospital had no other choice but to upgrade.
