In November 2016, the Aura Boulevard Bridge finally opened for the public. The bridge, located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, was a $5 million investment that took a year to construct. The structure, which serves as a two-way bridge for cyclists, is the newest method of entry into Aura. Aura is one of Australia’s newest communities; the first in Australia to be built to the world’s highest sustainability standards. The construction of the bridge was a major step in the development of the community.

The Royal North Shore Hospital is a premier medical facility that recently underwent redevelopment. Renovations produced a 27-acre site that is enveloped in Vitrapanel, which is a fiber cement cladding from Vitragroup. To ensure the coatings retain their gloss and color, a Vitreflon topcoat was used. Vitreflon employs Lumiflon FEVE resin technology that will prevent coating degradation.

MPavilion is an annual architecture and design event where one outstanding architect is commissioned to design a pavilion for the Queen Victoria Gardens. The 2015 design was the work of award-winning architect Amanda Levete and her studio, AL_A. The completed pavilion is a series of translucent petals perched on slender carbon fiber poles, creating a structure that resembles a forest canopy.
