There are numerous hotels to choose from, one of which is the Oasis Tower, a seven-story hotel that accommodates nearly 200 guests orientated around a lagoon and private pool. It's here you'll find another distinctive building enveloped in custom Pure + Freeform panels.
The manufacturers at pure + freeform explain, “Harsh climates call for tough materials. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel's iconic guitar-shaped hotel isn't the only part of the project that was larger than life. The pool area includes a 2-story food service area in the shape of a boat, complete with a floating walkway. Using plate panels, the grain is offset – moving in the opposite direction around the fascia – giving it the wood-like appearance one might see on a real ship, but with a material that is more friendly to the humidity of the pool and Florida itself.”
The wood-like panels in the company's Seminole Koa finish are enriched with Lumiflon FEVE resin technology. Coatings with Lumiflon FEVE resin technology offer benefits that many other coatings do not. The fluoropolymer provides unmatched weatherability, which helps prevent against coating degradation. FEVE-based coatings also help reduce lifecycle costs, as their hyper-durability allows a coating to resist degradation in the face of UV radiation, salt, and water perfect for architecture in harsh climates like Florida.
