The new facility for the new Hampton Roads Trunsit replaces a 3-acre circle of asphalt that stood next to a busy road. The replacement transit hub contains approximately 1,010 panels of Alpolic aluminum composite material for the roofing, which are coated in Lumiflon FEVE resin. School Roof Gets Colorfully Repainted With Advanced Fluoropolymer Coating System

All-Tech Coatings, a specialty division of All-Tech Decorating, out of Chicago Illinois was contracted for a colorful school roof restoration in Steubenville, Ohio. The original baked-on Kynar finish of the standing seam roof had experienced weathering and unexplainable peeling, down to the roof’s primer. This created the perfect opportunity for the high school to not only repaint, but to paint the roof with a color more symbolic to the school. Structural Steel Of Retractable Roof Protected By Lumiflon Coating

Serving as Salt Lake City’s high-end retail and dining destination, the City Creek Center showcases one of the most advanced roofing systems available. The first of its kind in Utah, the S-shaped retractable roof consists of 36 structural steel “whalebone ribs,” used to support glass panels, allowing for ample daylighting to the patrons below. Using a Lumiflon FEVE fluoropolymer based Tnemec coating system, fabricators at Ducworks, Inc. were able to provide an excellent color match of the structural steel to the roof’s metal frames.
